Graduate Work Stream Requirements
- Must be under 50 years old.
- Must meet Australian study requirement on student visa
- Nominate occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skill List (MLTSSL)
- IELTS overall score of at least 6 with a minimum score of 5 for each of the 4 parts or equivalent English test

Processing Time
On average, the processing time takes 72 days to 3 months depending on the circumstances of Graduate visa application.
These are the some of the reasons why the processing time is taking longer than usual:
- The information in the application are not complete
- The supporting documents are not sufficient for the case officer to finalise the application and more document(s)/information are required
- The response time of the applicant for the requested information
- The information provided takes time on the verification process.
- The information from external agencies sometimes takes time. Example, those who are related to national security, health, and character requirements
- Number of applications load process by the processing centre, internal policy (processing standard time) and influx in application in a given time period

Being a Graduate Work Stream holder
The student who is granted a visa is allowed to:
- Stay in Australia, usually about 18 months
- Travel, study, and work during the stay in Australia

- Must meet Australian study requirement on student visa
- Nominate occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skill List (MLTSSL)
- IELTS overall score of at least 6 with a minimum score of 5 for each of the 4 parts or equivalent English test
How much it will cost
The visa (government) fee starts from AUD1,895.
Stay duration
Most of the time, the student can stay in Australia between 2 and 4 years depending on her/his qualification.
Processing time
On average, the processing time takes 3 to 8 months depending on the circumstances of Graduate visa application.

- Must be under 50 years old.
- Must meet Australian study requirement on student visa
- IELTS overall score of at least 6 with a minimum score of 5 for each of the 4 parts or equivalent English test
How much it will cost
The visa (government) fee starts from AUD745.
Stay duration
Most of the time, the student can stay in Australia for up to 1-2 years.

Processing of visa is on a case-by-case basis. Circumstances vary on the action done in the Temporary Graduate visa (Subclass 485) application.
