It allows a skilled worker to live and work in Australia permanently as they are nominated by their employer.
Temporary Residence Transition Stream requirements
- Must hold a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (Subclass 457), TSS or related Bridging visa A, B or C
- Commonly, the applicant worked full time to the employer for at least 3 years while holding a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (Subclass 457) or TSS visa
- Must been nominated by an Australian employer whose nomination was approved in the 6 months before application

The worker can stay indefinitely in Australia as the Employer Nomination Scheme visa refers to a permanent visa.
