Self-isolation
COVID-19 Update #02
BE INFORMED. AVOID FALSE RUMORS.
15 March 2018, Prime Minister Scott Marrison announced than anyone arriving in Australia from overseas will be forced to self-isolate for 14 days to help deal the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Noncompliance of the new rules will raise into penalties and some states include fines of thousand dollars and/or imprisonment. Furthermore, international cruise ships were banned from docking in Australia from the next 30 days yet arrangements will be made to get Australians home on board.
